Emily's best friend in the whole wide world, Autumn, made some arrangements and went crazy with them, to throw Em a wonderful 39th Birthday party at home. Of course it was a surprise, what fun would it be if it were a well known and documented fact!?
Packed up all the fixin's for an 'ice cream' bar to make sundaes, minus the ice cream; Oh and Unicorn party hats, and a tiny little unicorn pinata... filled with candy. The girls were over the moon excited to celebrate the next page turn in Emily's book of her.
The girls got to craft, create, and destroy their sweet creations! As did Emily. I stopped by Graeters and picked her up her favorite Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip ice cream, and some vanilla for the girls.
All in all, on the heels of such a rough year I feel like this was a fun and enjoyable way to move forward into 2021 in a more positive way. If anything at all we had a fun time around the table, laughing, making memories being silly; celebrating Emily. We all thank God every day for the blessing of Emily in our lives; some of us call her Mom, some call her Mommy, some call her Wife. Never the less we are better people because our lives have been touched by her love, and presence.
