Independence Day rolled around and we had everyone in town for it, all of Emily’s siblings and their kids. It was a long weekend that for me was odd, being recently laid off in February from my 7 year weekend/holiday job with Dr. Pepper Snapple (somehow I survived the cuts of 2020), I was experiencing holidays for the first time in full attendance and glory with the family. Not interrupted by mandatory Holiday and weekend work schedules. This was the '1st big' Holiday I'd had off, and it was quite surreal.

Most of the July 3rd and 4th we pretty much lived over at Nana and PeePaw's, if we weren't swimming, the kids were running and playing and enjoying each other, while making memories that will last a life time (in Abby's case).
We wrapped up the wonderful weekend over at the old property (3 houses down) 7139 and did a Fireworks display. Lead by Uncle Marty, PeePaw, Uncle Kevin, Landon and Uncle Mike. All of the cousins absolutely loved it! And it made for some fantastic memories of the property that Emily had grown up on.

It was a worthy send-off for the property, with everyone there to enjoy it all.
