'22 - Fall Break Tennessee

thepetreys5

So for our fall break, we try to get away to TN for a long weekend and enjoy the fall season at the Family cabin in Townsend, TN.

We meet up with the Estrada's; Laura, Keegan & Kiera, and go to Oakes Farms to enjoy those Fall Festivities which are much like Blooms & Berries, which are quite enjoyable for the kiddos.

We went to Cades Cove, which is a family favorite. This time we did much more than the usual drive the loop and look or animals. We stopped at the historic primitive churches and historic sites and houses. We even stopped at the typical halfway stop and got to experience some interactive activities happening the girls loved. The girls got to play the dulcimer.

We also took the drive to head over to Klingman's Dome and do that hike with the girls. It was a bit chilly. But it was a memorable moment for our family.

While Vera & Paisley napped while we left Klingman's Dome, we drove to about the halfway point to Gatlinburg, TN for us to walk around and enjoy the street decorations.

On the way home through Maryville, we saw one of the biggest Harvest moons either Emily or I have ever seen. It was insane, the photo doesn't do justice at all.

And of course on the way home, the Stop at the Apple Valley Store, one of the girl's favorite stops right before we leave on the last day... only topped by Buc-ee's. We're so blessed to have these breaks to take these trips, to make these memories.
